Of New Zealand

Highlight of New Zealand:
  • Realizing how cold New Zealand is. (Seriously, gloves and beanie are a must)
  • Going down the green run on my first day of snowboarding. (Which wasn't the smartest decision i have made in my life)
  • Breaking my first "stop" sign head first ^^
  • Breaking my 2nd "slow" sign.
  • Crashing into a small kid snowboarding on accident. (Man, those young 8 year olds can snowboard better than me)
  • Twisted fingers from crashing into ROCKS, bruises on the arse and knees for falling one too many times.
  • Being able to link my turns (:
  • Missing Serena's presence. (Miss you so so so much dear)
  • Watching Alex trying to finish a "Big Al" Ferburger. (Haha, it was extremely comical and disgusting)
  • Winning the most improve snowboarder award (:
  • Playing the "I never" game with MUST.
  • Missing Serena's hugs.

Meet Alex, he is going to try to power through the burger after a very very heavy Indian meal. There was a bet, if he could finish it in 30 minutes, he gets 80 bucks. My money was against him finishing.

Alex in the zone, concentrating. By the way, a "Big Al" is equivalent to 3 Big Macs.
Alex losing it.

By this time he was already threw up in his mouth and swallow it back in 2 times. EWWWWW...
Alex then tries to do it standing up.
But as you can see, it isn't much help either. Fifth time throwing up in his mouth.Alex finally gives up, and pukes. Hahaha, his stomach hurt like mad the next day.

Of Pride and Arrogance

Hahaha, my goodness, came back this morning to be greeted by Roger sleeping on the floor and David in my room. Oi, my sheets are new, I just got them changed! (But I really don't mind Roger sleeping on the floor as i haven't vacuum for ages, maybe his shirt and boxers can help make my job a little easier =P)

David enjoying himself on my bed >.<
Thats Roger. Notice the PS2 my housemate just got!!

A few days back, I learn to lay down my pride and apologize for my mistakes. I'm a proud person, saying sorry is not something i do on an everyday basis. Arrogance is what I strike people as, and I can't say that they are that far off. Bruise my pride, and I'll hurt you more than you hurt me. But yes, I've realised that pride gets in the way of a lot of good things.

I used to think that a man without pride is worthless as its the only thing that someone would not be able to take away from a person, and thus one has to fight to keep it from being step on. But I guess I when overboard and push my ego into the "SuperEgo" side. Balance is the key, if an apology can make things right, why not just lay your pride down and apologize? I guess people in general struggle with pride and arrogance, especially guys. So yeah, to all those people out there who finds apologizing hard, the next time you think about not apologizing, why not think about what would happen AFTER you apologize.

No doubt I did not feel my best when I apologize but it felt pretty good later on ( : So trust me, be the bigger man and apologize!

Roar!! I found new joy in cooking! Better get to it!

It's been AWHILE

Hey friends, peeps, and fans =P Jian's back.
Its been more than a month since i blog, been pretty busy with exams so that's my excuse!! Now that exams are over, and my student exchange is more or less settled, I can start blogging again!

Rants:
I so hate it when my exams are so stretch. 4 papers in 18 days. I started on the FIRST day and ended on the LAST day. What a perfect timetable. Benny finished in the first week itself and my housemate finished by the 2nd week. So yeah, they had fun taunting me and rubbing it in my face =P HATE YOU GUYS!

I was just reminiscing about a year back when I first came to Australia. It was during winter too, I was sitting at the park waiting for Zed to get his arse down from his apartment. Wearing a pair of flip-flops, a pair of denim shorts, and a hoodie freezing my balls off. Then while waiting this dude walk up to me to talk to me.

"Hey brother you good? Need some change?"
"Oh yeah i am good, NO NO, i don't need your coins."
*Stares at my flip-flops and shorts*
"You sure mate, you mean your not a homeless----"
"No No, I'm just waiting for someone."
*Pointed to Seasons 14 floor* And I think he thought i was pointing to the sky.
"Oh yes mate, HE WILL COME, God hear us all, cheers mate and don't lose the faith"
=_=''

Hahaha, that was comical, being mistaken for a homeless guy.

We have been through a lot haven't we. Yeah no doubt it sucks the life force and energy out of us and I am not saying my energy is limitless, but I believe we would get through whatever that comes along. Believe it or not, you're the first and last thing on my mind. (: I believe your worth going through everything that I've been through and more that is yet to come. Yes, I'm that crazy over you (:
I know you like my stupid antics =P

Unfair and racial in nature

The move that requires Law firms to have at least THREE Bumiputra partners which one of whom must have at least 50% stake before being able to do business with the bank is PURE BULLSHIT and discriminatory. So much for Malaysia being fair to all races and how the new NEP was suppose to help ALL irregardless of religion or race.

Malaysia is going to the dogs, that's for sure. Globalisation is happening and Maybank directors are still stuck with that stupid mindset of "If Bumiputras are in more law firms, our economy would grow". Can someone please educate this fcuktards?

There is this saying which i think its so true. If its a MALAY problem, its a national problem. If its a CHINESE problem, its a racial problem. If its a Indian problem, its no problem (hey hey, I didn't create this saying alright). Malaysia still have a long way to go if we want to achieve racial unity, it's the 50th independence day come this August, and it pains me to see stupid law like this being propose.

Irritating Day

Friday was one of the most irritating day of my life.

It all started while i was rushing for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was cooking my EGG, preparing to make myself sandwich, dum di dum... Fry fry fry*

Ah its done, i scooped my egg up and when I just wanted to place it on my bread, it slipped and FELL ON THE FLOOR. Do you know how much love I put into making my freaking EGG?

As if that wasn't bad enough, i realize that if I fry another egg i would be late, so i decided to take my bath instead. scrub scrub scrub* Splash splash splash*

While walking down Lygon street, i decided to fiddle with my eye piercing, and what do you know, I lost my STUD (the metallic round ball) while washing my face/bathing/peeing, i don't know! ARGHHHH

I finally got over it during dinner and decided to just forget about it. This day can't get any worst can it?

Ah, I had to speak too soon. Return home at 3am, feeling hungry, i thought to myself why not just heat up my pie in the microwave? So smart me just left the pie in there and set the option at "AUTO REHEAT"

Expecting "AUTO REHEAT" to do its job, I when to change, shower, wash my face, fix myself a cup of tea. THEN, all of a sudden the fire alarm when off. AND IT WAS F**king loud, I ran to my microwave and see smoke just puffing out. What a bitch!

Thank goodness i manage to turn my fan on to blow the smoke away from my fire sensor before the fire department responded to it. For you information, a fake alarm would cause you 2000.00AUD. Notice the number of zeros.

So i slept at freaking 5am. And I slept with the smell of smoke in my room. Annoying, the smoke smell is still here.

Of False Alarm

Drum rolls* please! INTRODUCING!
No, not Jo, but take a look in the PAN!

French toast!! and it tasted GOOD! Next item, cheese cake!

Today, while having my macroeconomics tutorial, the alarm rang.

"Will all students and staff please evacuate the building IMMEDIATELY! I repeat IMMEDIATELY, this is not a DRILL"

Mutters* packs stuff casually while having a conversation.

"Students and staff please evacuate IMMEDIATELY, there's a gas leakage detected under the building. Students are advice to refrain from SMOKING!"

*jian, I'll see you outside k?
WUSSIES!

It was fun, too bad the building didn't explode into flames. Kinda dissapointed! =P
