Of Speedos and Speed

Went swimming yesterday at freaking 4.30pm at RSC. I need a bloody tan, cause i am as fair as my caucasion counterpart =_= And i love an empty pool. You know, Empty pool= Can-do-stupid-things-that-you-won't-normally-do-when-there-are-people-around. Eg, Creating your very own swiming style! Doing flips and what-nots. Anyway, half way through my laps, this dude turn up, he was in his early 30s. I won't call him fat, but he had a stomach the size of humpty dumpty(wtf! i don't know who to compare to) BUT, hear this BUT, he was WEARING SPEEDOS!

For those who are new to the water world, let me give you a low down on how things work.

• Long/Track pants. These are the utterly noobies. No professional swimmer would give recognition to them. These people cause the pool to be in an utter mess after using them. Wtf guys, long pants are not mean to be in the pool!!GROSS asses!


• BoardShorts. Okay okay, these are more beach-goers than Pros, but hey, at least its boardshorts. Boardshorts win over long/track pants anyday! So in a way they do get alittle more respect.


• Swiming pants. Well these stuff doesn't exactly have the V-shape that exposes your pubes that Speedos have but its more like those tight hot short pants that girls wear. =_= So yes, armatures swimmers wear these!!


• Speedos/Swimming Trunks. Now people who wear these are the TOP DOGS in the pool. (Unless you got no shame =P) Their ahemmm are carefully trim so that their fellow swimmers don't have to see anything unslightly. (Sometimes, when i see hair in pools it makes me wonder =P)

And i was so right, he was swimming fast! Free-style, back-stroke, breast-stroke, butterfly. He was whooping my arse in terms of speed and stamina. How fast am I you ask?? Well, I was after all a school swimmer ^.^
