Of Theives and Sleepless Nights

Friday morning:

Reach home from Maisons at 4am, took off my shoes, wash my face and was preparing for a goodnights sleep. Just when i was about to doze off to dreamland, MY PHONE RANG.

"Who the fcuk...."

"What? a phone call from mom? she must think that i am stil out or something."

"Yeah, mom?"

"Are you at home? Are you in your room?"

"Yes i am, and yes i am in my room, why?"

"Did you go to the kitchen just now? "

huh? kitchen? i when straight up...

"No, i didn't i head straight up and wash up why?"

"Okay son, lock your doors now, i think someone is downstairs.."

OMG this is so freaking cool, my house got broken into, just a few weeks back my bro was telling me about his friend and his parents who overpowered 2 armed robbers. Well i WAS kinda excited, maybe its cause i wasn't thinking straight from all that alcohol. LOL...

"Okay mom, "

"I'll call you back later..."

After making sure that the doors are all tightly shut i woke my brother up.

"Eh Jian Hao, mommy thinks theres someone in our house."

"HUuurrr??" ( he was still kinda groggy, =X )

"Yeah i am serious, there is someone in our house, at least thats what mommy tells me la."

He got up to put on his underwear. Oh oh, he was wearing sarong, my dad and my bro wears sarong to sleep. No no, pants is good enough for me.

After waiting for like half an hour i couldn't stand the tension no more.

"Mommy, lets all go out now" ( i called her on her mobile)

"I going to call the homeguards and police"

"No need la, Jian Hao also awake already! lets just go out "

"But..."

"Me and Jian Hao going out now"

"Okay okay, ..."

So we open our door and look out. It sounded pretty quiet.By this time, my dad was also out holding his weapon, the golf stick. We when down and everything was fine, there was nothing , nobody. I felt Slightly dissapointed. So much for being a hero. And what a false alarm, its 5 am and the 4 of us are checking the house like fools. Apparently, its my maid who when to the bath room that cause the noise. But what a day!!!

BTW, my dad's birthday is on the 22nd. Any ideas what to get him?
